Dr. 大卫·奥康奈尔 is a 教授 in the Department of 管理. A member of the faculty since 1998, he has taught courses in leadership, organization theory, conflict and negotiation, human resource management, 案例研究, principles of management, and research methods. Dr. 奥康奈尔 served as the Dean of the College of Business 在圣. Ambrose University from 2010-2014. Dr. 奥康奈尔 was named Outstanding 研究生 教授 at the University in 2011 and received the Faculty Teaching Award in the College of Business in 2020.

Dr. 奥康奈尔 has published articles in the Journal of 领导 and Organizational Studies, 集团 & Organization 管理, 领导 and Organizational Development Journal, 人 & 策略, 例》杂志, Organization and 管理 Journal,Journal of 管理 Education. His research and writing have focused on organizational vision, 团队开发, leadership development, personal adaptability, grace in the workplace, and management pedagogy. Dr. 奥康奈尔 has served on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Academy of 管理, where he has been an active member for several years. He has also worked with a number of organizations in a consulting or training capacity.

Prior to pursuing his doctoral studies, Dr. 奥康奈尔 served the Public Service Company of New Mexico in communications and research capacities. While a graduate student at Boston University he worked with the Executive Development Roundtable, Human Resources Policy Institute, 和 Boston University School of Public Health.
